Week Five: More Editing

Shown here is a screenshot of the multiple layers of video, sound, and adjustment layers we're using to edit our video. We've used the adjustment layers to colour the different clips from the market and the supermarket, reducing the saturation on clips of the supermarket experience and increasing the saturation on clips of the market (but only very marginally, the market footage is already very colourful). Minor colour and brightness corrections have been made on certain clips depending on the content of each one.

Each type of clip (supermarket/market) has its own corresponding background music to add to the atmosphere of the locations. For the market, we have a happy, cute acoustic guitar type track, and for the supermarket, we have bland elevator style music (muzak). On top of the muzak we've also used sound gathered from the supermarket of the beeping of the checkout and general people noise to add to the sense of discomfort we're trying to convey
For the sound clips, we sourced some elevator music from a youtube clip and the happy acoustic type music from a website called bensound.com. We assumed that because this music is being used for a school project and not for any commercial use that it isn't illegal to use these sounds/sources.
