Week Four: Experimentation with website

While having a play on brackets trying elements for our actual website, we realised we weren't quite sure as to how we wanted things to look, it was more of just a trial and error exercise. So we jumped over to photoshop and started having a play around of how we may like things to look, without worrying about confusing ourselves with css at this point. So we played around with some colours and a layout, using Lorem Ipsum as placeholder text for now.

This was effective for us to have more of a play with the design aspects of how we want the site to look in a program in which we are confident with, this way we didn't come to a halt in our design development of the site by trying to rack our brains around the css. From here we will experiment with a few more of these concepts in photoshop and then once we are happy with one, we will start coding it in css form in graphics.

Following this we started looking at the idea of bringing infographics into the site to present our statistical information. We had already found some from one of the sites we critiqued earlier, so we used the infographics on that as inspiration.

We created two possible infographics to use within our website. One for the statistic "every Sunday up to 25,000 people attend the market" and one for the statistic "under the standard retail model a grower typically gets around 30% of the retail price."
