Today we worked on developing and refining aspects of the website, where we altered the header and created some links through a navigation menu.
To refine the header, we took the background out and made it transparent, this made it look as though it belongs to the container more and less disjointed.
After this, we had a shot at creating a horizontal menu bar, so that the web user can navigate through the page easily, as well we decided we wanted to create an extra page to display external websites.

This process was a lot of trial and error, where we tried different colours and techniques, and learnt alot of it through online tutorials. This process was a good learning curb, where we got to experiment with different styles, techniques and colours until we found one that we thought best suited our site.
From here we needed to make a plan as to how we would link everything.
Once we sorted out what needed to be linked with what we then went into brackets and started creating the links we needed to, to make the plan above work. Again, this took a bit of trial and error but we got there in the end and all the links work.
Once we had finished this we took some screenshots of the two pages to see how well they flow. The first image is the page you will come to when you first go to the site (index.html).
and the following image is a screenshot of the page you will be directed to when you click the "click here for further sources" link/button of the first page.
