In class we were asked to mimic a given template for a website using the skills we'd learned in a tutorial for brackets and CSS. This was helpful in solidifying the skills we'd just learned from the video tutorial and we were pleased with the results. This exercise also showed us that the content we've already gathered (our pictures and videos) work well visually on a web platform.
After getting a handle on some of the skills we had a go at some quick experimenting with a basic version of our own website. This experimentation is handy for quickly seeing what is and isn't working in relation to colours, composition and the layout of our information.
